Children's Programs
Our programs are designed to give children an exciting introduction to a broad range of horse experiences, sparking the curiosity and sense of adventure that makes our relationship with these amazing animals so powerful.
Playing on horseback and connecting to the light-hearted side of this world may seem all fun and games, but these games and activities also serve the purpose of building confidence, balance, and proficiency on horseback that will consolidate riding skills as well or better than more traditional riding lessons.

Program Details
Children's programs are from 9:30am-12pm on Saturday mornings, and are $150 per child. We will cycle through favorite themes and activities as well as continually introduce new ones.
Each theme will change and grow with the programs as we cycle through them -- they are all designed to be taken more than once so that children can build on previous skills and learn new ones.
Saturday, October 5, 2024 - Western Games
Experience the history and present of the Wild West, where horses were essential to the westward exploration and are still irreplaceable in ranch work today. Riders will participate in some western game classics like barrel racing, pole bending, and more.
Saturday, November 2, 2024 - Mounted Archery
Horseback archers once represented the pinnacle of skill in hunting and battle. With blunt-tipped arrows, riders will learn the basics of safe archery on the ground and then put their skills to the test by adding their trusty steed.
Saturday, November 16, 2024 - Vaulting
Develop your balance and acrobatics with the gymnastic art of vaulting. Riders will learn movements and positions on a bareback pony that will serve to greatly improve confidence and skills in the saddle.
Saturday, December 14, 2024 - Trail Obstacles
Learn to build a trusting partnership with your horse by navigating obstacles in this trail workshop. Riders will get to practice maneuvering bridges, gates, and more.
